Nina & Maggie
Service Dog
Maggie was placed as a service dog in 2018 with a young woman named Nina. Nina has narcolepsy and Maggie helped her wake in the night for medication. Maggie’s presence in Nina’s life supported her as she lived on her own and furthered her independence. In addition, Maggie accompanied Nina to her classes at a local university to help her manage anxiety related to school stress.
