What is Coins for Canines?
Engage in healthy competition while raising funds for our team of dogs. Coins for Canines is easy to organize, builds team spirit, sneaks in some math, and benefits kids with disabilities. Students learn about empathy, community service, and teamwork — while making a real impact.
How It Works
Each participating grade, classroom, or club decorates their collection jar or box.
Participants bring in spare change, dollars, or online donations (QR code is provided within this kit).
Each week, students tally their totals and see how their classroom ranks against other competing classrooms (or grades).
Not competing with anyone? No problem! We’ll work together ahead of time to set a fundraising goal for your group.
At the end of one month, send us your final tallies. We’ll announce The Top Fundraising classroom or grade in the school. Then, we’ll work with you to schedule a date to come collect the coins and pay the winners a visit from Rosie, the Paws & Affection Ambassador Dog.
